Pinot Noir Langenloiser 2023
Pinot Noir is without a doubt one of the most fascinating grape varieties when it comes to expressing a place through wine. In the cool climate of the Kamptal, on calcareous loess and metamorphic rock soils, the feminine and finely etched character of this demanding variety truly comes to life, captivating us year after year. This red-berry-toned and mineral-driven Pinot brings together grapes from our terraced vineyards in the Thal and Käferberg sites, showcasing the distinctive geological and microclimatic spectrum of Langenlois.

Vinification
The grapes were selectively harvested by hand in late September and carefully destemmed. Fermented on the skin in open fermenters for 2 weeks and punched down only by hand before being slowly pressed off. Final fermentation in small, used oak barrels. Matured on the lees in barrel for several months. Bottled without filtration in March 2025 at high atmospheric pressure during the waxing moon. 100% artisanal.
