Native 2025
A grape variety blend that has existed for more than a century. In our Native, we bring together Grüner Veltliner and Riesling to create a light-footed, delicately fruity all-rounder with a rich mouthfeel and excellent grip. The grapes come from the historic terraced vineyards surrounding Langenlois and are grown on mineral-rich loess soils as well as barren primary rock.
The berries are gently crushed and macerated together in the press for more than 20 hours before pressing. After fermentation in small oak barrels, the wine remains on its full lees until bottling, when it is filtered and bottled.

Vinification
The grapes were selectively hand-harvested at the end of September, destemmed, and gently crushed. After 20 hours of maceration, they were carefully pressed at low pressure. Fermented in small oak barrels and then aged on the lees for six months. Bottled in April 2026 during a period of high atmospheric pressure and a waxing moon. Crafted entirely by hand.
Wine description
Expressive on the nose, with delicate aromas of lemon balm, yellow apple, and juicy orange, complemented by subtle notes of almond blossom. An elegant hint of lees, shaped by maturation in small oak barrels, adds depth and complexity. Fine herbal spice and a touch of ripe apricot complete the layered aromatic profile.
